You just have to HAVE the panels ON your car.

I feel like I'm getting a lot of air quotes and winks from that statement. Is this a 'well what if they conveniently "fall off" after tech' kinda thing? lol.

Actually, made a lot of progress, might have the [front] fenders done in time.

I heard what happened on Saturday though, wouldn't be surprised if tech got more stringent. Can't blame them, some people on Jalopnik were saying the drivers' car had real shitty tires.

I'm pretty sure they'd complain if your hood came off after tech. not really air quotes. Just fulfill the purpose of the rule and you're fine. IE no spilling fluids on track or on your window in case of an accident. This is for safety, not for status/fitment/looking cool.

not the hood, i meant fenders - no need for my hood to come off, that shit just looks ghetto. granted, so does a lack of fenders, but when you can't turn your wheels further than half lock without making full contact with the fenders, you gotta do what you gotta do.

but like i said, i think i'll have them at least mostly finished by the 6th.
