DN 2014 rules discussion
There will be more. Just none this month at the very least.

On the one hand, that sucks. On the other, my car's been on stands for the past month, so I guess it really doesn't matter. Probably won't be on the ground again till later this month, maybe June considering how hard I've been beating off on this current project.

This makes me sad
Guess I've got plenty of time to get my car ready though

Schedule has been released!

Sway is like a race horse; if you push it sometimes, it's ok, but if you are hard on it all the time, then it's going to break its ankle and then you will have to shoot it.

Re: DN 2014 rules discussion
So I know track management wants us to have all our body panels now... the question is, how pretty do they have to be?
I haven't gotten around to modding my fenders for the angle kit + new wheels yet. It needs roughly 2.5" of extra clearance. I was planning on cutting the fender at the body line and welding another piece of metal in, like a box flare.
The thing I have questions about is that there are gonna be massive gaps... like, it'll be expanded/held together by a few 2.5x1" pieces of sheet metal. I just don't have the time to do everything else to get the car ready ~and~ do the body work right (for now). Is this gonna be a problem?

Re: DN 2014 rules discussion
The panel rule is there for safety and not for looks. You need a hood because one time some guy's valve cover or something spewed hot fluid onto his window and he couldn't see. The bumpers have to be there to protect the radiator or anything else with liquids to lessen the chance of fluids on track. Fenders, I'm assuming just have to be there. So if your wheels poke and you have gaps, they won't care. You just have to HAVE the panels ON your car.
