DN tech inspection form and driver's rules/regulations

Quick question about the seats. I have an 89 240 and the drivers seat was beat when I bought it. I had a status seat from my sti that is full fia certified that I put into the 240. In the inspection it says the driver and passenger seat must offer the same protection. Am I going to run into issues because of this?

You should be fine. That rule is more for tandem than solos.

Well... as long as that passenger's seat isn't beat to shit like the first driver's seat.
