2 also are there any other requirements for the wet pit?

3 does anyone know any good practice places I'm located northern va in lovettsville I'm close to Charlestown, Frederick, and leesburg all about 15min drives from my house

Couple of questions

I'm on my phone so sorry for the short responses.

1. Yes a helmet is needed
2. Your car must pass basic tech for drifting.
3. Summit Point is your best bet to attend events. We are going to run Blue Crab Stadium event in Waldorf, MD ON 8/25. Do that event.
Sway is like a race horse; if you push it sometimes, it's ok, but if you are hard on it all the time, then it's going to break its ankle and then you will have to shoot it.

I'm about 20 minutes from Frederick and I haven't found anywhere around here to legally practice aside from at the events. If you find anywhere let me know lol
